Sree Ramaswamy is a Partner at the McKinsey Global Institute (MGI), McKinsey’s business and economics research arm. He leads research on the economics of digitization and the economics of multinational corporations. He is responsible for shaping MGI’s research initiatives, leading research on trends in competition, technology, and global forces influencing multinationals.
Sree is also a co-leader of MGI’s research on North America, and has authored reports and articles on the ongoing digital transformation of the US economy, on new investment opportunities, on opportunities and challenges for the NAFTA region, and the role of US multinational firms in the global economy. Sree is a frequent speaker at conferences, policymaker, business, and media roundtables, and media briefings on topics related to his core research and to MGI’s broader themes around global forces, technology, trade and investment, and the global and US economic outlook. His research is frequently cited in the Economist, Financial Times, Harvard Business Review, and Wall Street Journal among other publications.
Broader Experience and Education
Prior to joining McKinsey, Sree spent a decade in the US telecom and aerospace sector. He worked in regulatory affairs and engineering research for broadband satellite networks and holds three patents. He has an MBA and Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in engineering and telecommunications. Sree is based in Washington, DC.

Jermaine joined the JMMB team in 2004, as a research analyst in the investment and research department. His main functions include macroeconomic research and analysis, applying models that enabled projections for critical economic variables including inflation and interest and exchange rates.
In 2006, he was promoted to investment, research and sovereign risk analyst, where his functions expanded to include bond valuation and forecasting, relative value analysis, and emerging market debt in regions such as Latin America and Eastern Europe. He further broadened his scope by moving into the equities arena, where, as senior equity analyst, he focused on the Jamaica and Caribbean equities markets, discounted cash flow price projections, free cash flow price projections and forward pricing for companies looking to list on the Junior Stock Exchange (JSE).
In 2010 Jermaine was promoted to senior economist and sovereign research manager for the JMMB group, where he supervises all research across Jamaica, Trinidad and the Dominican. In 2013 he was again promoted to Group Research Manager with his responsibilities expanding to major research projects, high level pension fund management, bond valuation and yield curve forecasting.
Jermaine has a Master of Science degree in Economics, with a major in International Finance and Game Theory, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Statistics from the University of the West Indies (UWI). Jermaine also has extensive on the job training including a Standard & Poor’s certificate in international ratings methodology. In addition to his finance and economics training, Jermaine is also a qualified attorney-at-law having completed Norman Manley Law School in 2016 and was called to the bar in 2017. In his spare time Jermaine is a guest speaker in the UWI MSc graduate economics program in development economics and the graduate seminar series.
Dennis is a chartered accountant by profession and completed the Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in accounting, in 1987 and 1989 respectively, at the University of the West Indies, and the Certiﬁed Public Accountant exams in 1990 in California, USA.
He attended Jamaica College and was a member of the Jamaica College Board and Foundation between 2005 and 2012.

He has written a weekly column in the Financial Gleaner and the Jamaica Observer, on economic and financial matters, since 2003 and contributes commentary to both the print and electronic media. He has done numerous presentations, in Jamaica and within the Caribbean region. He has also served on numerous public and private sector boards, including the Bank of Jamaica. He has authored two books, (I) “Charting Jamaica’s Economic and Social Development - A much needed paradigm shift"; and (2) "Achieving Life’s Equilibrium - balancing health, wealth, and happiness for optimal living".
